The Rio offers an advanced river running blade design at an introductory price. Mid-size blades are so well balanced and easy to use that we highly recommend the Rio for all entrants into whitewater who demand good paddle performance.

  • The same Bomber shaft we use on our top of the line paddles. Available in straight shaft only, in standard or small diameter.
  • Fiberglass reinforced nylon injection molded blades are durable at a lower cost.
  • Feather Angle: 1-piece options- unfeathered, Right hand control or left hand control, up to 90 degrees, in 5 degree increments. 2-piece - R45/0/L45 or R30/L30. R45 is our most popular in river running and R30 in play boating.

Blade Dihedral-Kayak

Dihedral blade shape was created to direct water to flow evenly off each side of the blade creating a smooth and stable stroke.

Fiberglass Reinforced - Injection Molded Nylon

The combination of fiberglass and nylon are impact and wear resistant at a lower price point.

Asymmetrical Blade Shape

Asymmetrical kayak blades are designed for a balanced stroke, reducing torque or twisting of the blade.

With a more pronounced tip and more surface area above the center of the blade, this design is optimized for a better forward stroke.

Available in Small or Standard diameter. Dial in your fit for better control, more comfort and less fatigue. Ladies tend to like the feel of small shaft.

Whitewater Fiberglass - Straight

Built for the rigors of the whitewater environment, our fiberglass shafts have the highest level of strength.
